Processing studio has a “Koshiyane” roof made of glass to help the studio always have enough light. To maintain the stability of the large roof and the entire building, we apply the “Double beam” method which uses 4 horizontal “Taiko” beams made of “Akamatsu” wood. We do not use wooden pillars in the middle of the plant so that we will always have a large workspace.
The wall of the processing studio is separated into two main parts. The top part is made from plaster mixed with sand and straw. The bottom one is made from Tenryusugi, a type of cedar’s bark.
