Furakoko Shokudo is a famous Italian restaurant located in the southern area of Yatsugatake. The owner is a chef who moved from Tokyo with their family about 10 years ago.
The restaurant was a dream that the owner had been nurturing during their years of cooking Italian food in Toranomon.
Initially, we noticed that it was a fairly large house, built several decades ago and divided into two parts: a residence at the back and a restaurant at the front.
The old house had black columns and ceiling, and was quite dimly lit, but we transformed it into a much more appealing and attractive place that draw in customers
While renovating an old private home, we also designed a shop. A new style of Sobokuya was born.
