Would you like to see cherry blossoms at Sobokuya Carpenter Shop in Japan?
For those who have visited our office in Vietnam, we imagine that it is hard to forget the beautiful image of Sobokuya Japan’s office and carpenter shop during the cherry blossom season.
Our carpenter shop is located in Hokuto city, Yamanashi prefecture, Japan where you can see the famous Mt. Fuji. This is also the place where our architects and skilled carpenters worked together to sketch, carve and assemble the tea room used in the office of Sobokuya Vietnam.
The carpenter shop has a “Koshiyane” roof (monitor roof) of glass to help the space inside always have enough light. In order to maintain the strength of the large roof and the shop, we adopt a double-stepping method using four beams made of Akamatsu wood. We do not use wooden posts in the middle of the workshop to ensure spacious working space.
The wall of the carpenter shop consists of two main parts.
The basic principle when working at Sobokuya is to be neat, tidy and careful. Safety at work is always our top priority.
From this carpentry shop, we have created high quality products for customers from many parts of the world.
It was at Sobokuya’s crarpentry shop in Japan where the carpenters made every small detail for our office in Vietnam.
We have meticulously measured, carved and assembled the tea room before shipping to Vietnam to ensure the quality of the work.
If you have a chance to visit the Sobokuya Japan’s office, don’t forget to take time to see our carpenter shop, enjoy the aroma of natural wood and chat with the carpenters who have big love for carpentry.
